In "Recoil," WWE Hall of Famer "Stone Cold" Steve Austin plays a mysterious stranger named Ryan Varrett and finds himself at odds with an evil crime lord, Drayke (Danny Trejo) and a corrupt police department. The Texas Rattlesnake spoke to WWE.com about the film and what's next for "Stone Cold."
WWE.com: What kind of character do you play in ?Recoil??
?Stone Cold? Steve Austin: I don?t want to give away too much of the story, but I play a character whose family is killed and he wants to track down those responsible and bring them to justice. The character is actually driven by a creed that I believe in, when people do bad things, the same should happen to them. That?s just the way it is.
WWE.com: On a scale from 1 to 10, how much action is there in ?Recoil??
?Stone Cold? Steve Austin: You know, there?s a lot of action in the movie, there are a lot of good fights and what not, but I wouldn?t say it?s a hardcore action movie because it?s more about the character. "Recoil" focuses on a man who loses his family and more so how it affects him, and how he is determined to set things right in his mind.
WWE.com: What was it like working with Danny Trejo?
?Stone Cold? Steve Austin:? Oh man, Danny is a super guy and a great actor. He?s one of those guys that whenever you see his face in the movies you think, ?damn, that?s one bad S.O.B.? But in reality, he?s one of the nicest guys I?ve ever met and worked with. He?s had a lot of successful films and we got along great, and I hope that the chemistry we shared in the film comes through on the screen.
WWE.com: You are doing a lot of action movies, but is there a specific genre you haven't done that you would like to do?
?Stone Cold? Steve Austin:? Hell, I?d like to do a comedy. I made a name for myself as ?Stone Cold? Steve Austin raising hell every week on Monday Night Raw, but I like laughing my head off just as much as I like whooping someone?s ass. If I could do an action-packed character-driven movie like ?Recoil,? and add in a lot of humor, that?s not a bad thing.
WWE.com: What?s after ?Recoil? for The Rattlesnake?
?Stone Cold? Steve Austin:? I?ve got a movie with Steven Seagal coming up, and I?m working on a movie right now with Dolph Lundgren. They are both similar to ?Recoil? in the sense that I play a man who has to raise some hell to survive and take what he wants.

Fannie Mae recently reported a net loss of $2.4 billion in the fourth quarter of 2011, compared with a net loss of $5.1 billion in the third quarter of the year. For the full year of 2011, Fannie Mae reported a net loss of $16.9 billion, compared with a loss of $14.0 billion for 2010. The company says the increase in the net loss for the year was due primarily to a $6.1 billion increase in net fair value losses in 2011. ?While economic factors such as falling home prices and high unemployment produced strong headwinds for our business again in 2011, we continued to grow a very strong new book of business as we have since 2009. During the year, Fannie Mae funded the market with more than $650 billion in liquidity and maintained its focus on strengthening Fannie Mae?s ability to support and improve the housing industry,? said Michael J. Williams, president and chief executive officer. Williams continues saying the company has recently set industry standards for underwriting that promotes sustainable homeownership and affordable rental housing.
