That is for the phone and that tablet dock, not subsidized. Asus PadFone is a nice niche device that?s about it.? Most people would want them separated because most of the times we are using the tablet and answering the phone too.? Even if the phone can be integrated into the tablet, it takes away the resource of using the tablet when looking up info. I have a tablet and a phone. But there are plenty of times i am using my phone for one thing and tab for others at same time
I was looking forward the Padfone going to T-mobile I hate att. I guess I can buy the Padfone and the tablet and unlock but I hate seeing the att logo on the phone. But I wish they announced the nexus tablet I been holding back from buying a tablet especially the Samsung galaxy tab plus.
Honestly, if it?s $860 for both Phone and Tablet without contract, that?s not a bad deal. Most tablet?s these days cost $400-600 and most phones these days costs $600-800 without contract.
So in other words, it supports only 2G speeds only so that sucks. Come on Asus, release a version compatible with 3G on one of the carriers. I?d still rather get one of the new Nexus phones coming later this year + one of the transformer pads.
Asus PadFone features includea 4.3-inch Super AMOLED qHD display, dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm snapdragon S4 CPU with the new Adreno 225 GPU, 8MP camera with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture, a VGA front-facing shooter,16GB of expandable storage, HSPA+ connectivity and Bluetooth 4.0, HDMI and A-GPS, a 1,520mAh battery, a 10.1" tablet display, a physical QWERTY keyboard Tablet Dock and Android 4.0 OS.
